St. Basil’s Community Kitchen is a ministry of Ascension of Christ Orthodox Community. We are a community of Christians under the supervision of Fr. Pimen Simon of the Church of the Nativity of Christ in Erie, PA.

We have humbly requested to come under the Protective Omophorion of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, and are hoping to hear for a positive affirmation of this request.
